I am inspired by the RSA’s proposals to put Fellows at its heart and by Matthew Taylor’s statement that the “growing networks of Fellows ...[can] be a force for civic innovation and social change”. I really want to help to make this happen.
Who am I?
I have worked most of my life in not-for-profit theatre. I retrained as a lawyer recently and now help theatre companies whose work connects with the RSA’s concerns – homelessness, health, young people, disability, environmental issues etc. I am also Company Secretary of Jazz Services, an arts charity. I am passionate about the Law too, in particular Dispute Resolution. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (and serve on its London Committee) and a mediator. I have introduced mediation to the theatre sector and am getting involved in community mediation.
