Acting Deputy Chair, RSA Yorkshire Region.
Trustee (& Past President), Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
Early career in construction industry, followed by 40 years in higher education, including 13 as industry-sponsored Professor of Construction Management. HE career culminated as Dean of Health & Environment, Leeds Metropolitan University.
International experience in Poland, China, Malaysia. Awarded 50th anniversary Gold medal by Cracow University of Technology.
On-going academic work with colleagues in UK and China, focussing on development of construction management discipline, and link between organisational governance and environmental sustainability.
