Inaugural RDI Address given by the incoming Master of the Faculty, Robin Levien.

Through a number of case studies and personal experiences Robin Levien RDI will illuminate how designers try to capture that 'something extra' that 'it' factor that will elevate their work from the ordinary. He will explore a variety of themes, including drawing and the notion that there are universal triggers that human beings recognise as beauty.

Chair: Matthew Taylor, chief executive, RSA

The Inaugural RDI Address will be followed by RDI Diploma Presentation to new Royal Designers and Honorary Royal Designers for 2009.
