RSA Keynote

Leading US pollster and political strategist Stan Greenberg presents exclusive post-election poll findings at the RSA, revealing new insights into why voters voted as they did on Thursday and their hopes for the future and for Britain.

This was the first reform election in some time, and the Greenberg Quinlan Rosenberg Research poll demonstrates that Lib Dem and Tory voters voted for change, as well as electoral reform and majorities now favour alternatives to current first-past-the post and public funding of campaigns. The poll suggests voters that gave the government its mandate also want more financial regulation, not less; more government involvement, not more markets; taxes rather than public service cuts; and more government investment, not more freedom of enterprise.

Join Stan Greenberg at the RSA "in conversation" with RSA Chief Executive Matthew Taylor for the first exclusive analysis of the full survey findings, which test the pulse of British voters on a range of issues of pressing importance, including how best to tackle Britain's debt, the future of the Labour party, and the prospects for a fairer, more equal UK society.
