RSA Screens

This powerful documentary offers a fresh and provocative account of the causes and consequences of the global financial crisis.  Told from an American perspective and using first hand testimony from bankers, borrowers, brokers and the brightest economic brains, The Flaw argues that rising income inequality was a significant and hitherto under-reported factor in the dramatic increase in debt which led to the instability that caused the crash.

The Flaw will receive its world premiere at the Sheffield International Documentary Festival in November 2010. This screening at the RSA is one a few preview showings.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with international award-winning documentary maker and director David Sington, fund manager and author George Cooper and Professor Robert Wade from the London School of Economics. Chaired by Prue Leith, entrepreneur and ex-chair, RSA.
