With the eyes of the world focussed on Gaza join us to discuss what Hamas, Israel and the Palestinian Authority should do next and whether Europe and the United States stand a chance of brokering a lasting peace. While diplomatic moves are vital in order to bring an end to the violence, the complex web of interests at play among the key actors - and the pressures upon them - makes a comprehensive political solution difficult to achieve.

Speakers include: Jonathan Freedland, journalist and broadcaster, Martin Linton MP, chair, Labour Friends of Palestine, Sir Lawrence Freedman, professor of war studies, Kings College London,  Abdel Bari Atwan, editor, Al-Quds Al-Arabi and Oliver Kamm, the Times.
