There is a strong societal awareness that to take care of our physical health we can go to the gym or eat well, but there is not an equivalent understanding of how to take care of our minds. Fellow Andy Gibson therefore sought to answer the question “How do we design our society to give us everything we need to stay mentally healthy?”, or in simpler terms “what’s the mental health equivalent of 5-a-day?
Andy used an RSA Networks Exchange event to pitch and gather support for a project examining this question and gained interest and insight from other Fellows including Tessy Britton, Ian Gilmour and others. The Mindapples project, one of many discussions around the theme of mental health which has sprung up on the RSA Networks platform, allowed the project to build further momentum.
