Dr James Orbinski is a past International President of Médecins Sans Frontières and in 1999 he collected the Nobel Peace Prize on their behalf.
He comes to the RSA to share his experiences of some of the world's bleakest and most dangerous places, such as Somalia and Rwanda, and to assess the role of humanitarianism in the world today.
Chair: David McCoy, co-managing editor of the Global Health Watch, an alternative world health report and Trustee of the RSA.
