Alex Farquharson

Alex Farquharson Alex Farquharson has been Director of Nottingham Contemporary since 2007. Nottingham Contemporary has welcomed 325,000 visitors since opening in November 2009 and acquired an international reputation for the quality of its exhibitions of contemporary art. Previously Alex was an independent curator. He has written on contemporary art and other subjects for a range of books and art magazines, and taught curating on the Curating Contemporary Art MA from 2001 to 2007.
