Steve Broome is Director of Research at the RSA where he leads work on communities, social networks and the RSA's public service reform projects around drugs and prisons.
Steve leads the Connected Communities programme which is exploring offline and online social network based approaches to community policy and grassroots change-making within communities. Prior to joining the RSA in 2008, he worked on a London New Deal for Communities programme, where he led evaluation and strategy, community safety, and community development programmes. He has spent time working for a number of research consultancies on regeneration, skills, worklessness and health projects.
