Peter Choueiri joined Healthways International as Chief Operating Officer in 2011 and is based in Munich, Germany.
His role provides unified leadership for all the countries in which Healthways runs operations outside of the United States of America together with international marketing and business development.
Peter has more than 15 years of international health experience with a number of organisations across a range of health systems. Prior to joining Healthways International, Peter was Member of the Munich Health Board of Munich Reinsurance Company, one of the world's leading reinsurance groups. In this last role, Peter led the development of Primary Health Insurance and Reinsurance business as well as related wellness and healthcare services in North America, Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Southern Europe. Prior to this Peter was Deputy Managing Director of a management consulting firm with international focus. Peter is fluent in English, German and French.
