Jane Dudman was previously associate editor of the Guardian's Public magazine and a well-established freelance business journalist. She has written about information management and information technology for many years and contributed to many different publications, including Director magazine and the Guardian, as well as to specialist magazines such as Computer Weekly and Health Service Journal. She has also written for organisations as diverse as Age Concern and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Jane's specialist area of expertise is the use of technology in the public sector. She has written many articles and reports on this subject for a wide range of titles and has been a long-standing contributor to public sector IT research firm Kable, for which she has written in-depth reports, as well as news articles and features.
