Jo Glanville is editor of Index on Censorship – winner of an Amnesty Media Award 2008 for a special issue on the Russian media.
She was a current affairs producer at the BBC for eight years. She has contributed to many publications including the Guardian, New Statesman, the Observer and the Independent. She is a trustee of the human rights theatre company iceandfire and co-author of ‘Free Speech for Sale’, English PEN and Index on Censorship’s report on libel law reform, published November 2009.
