Boko Inyundo is the director and a trustee of the
Africa Centre.
Boko started his career in advertising in 1998 with Ogilvy & Mather (Kenya) and, in 2000, joined Saatchi & Saatchi (London), where he was an Account Director. During his career in the advertising sector Boko worked on various businesses including the launch of the largest ISP in sub-Saharan Africa – Africa Online -, South African Breweries and Pepsi.
Whilst at Saatchi & Saatchi Boko completed a Masters in Marketing Management at Westminster Business School, part of the University of Westminster.
On completion of his postgraduate studies Boko was headhunted for a short term contract to project manage Network Rail’s tender to advertising agencies for the delivery of a £3m national integrated communications campaign designed to raise awareness of the danger of level crossing misuse.
Boko is currently a Global Sector Manager at Linklaters LLP and has been aligned to this global law firm's Media & Entertainment sector and IT & Business Services sector since January 2008.
Boko is half Kenyan/half English and was born and brought up in Kenya. In his spare time Boko runs a charity focussing on water sanitation in one of the poorest areas of rural western Kenya:
