Amanda describes herself as a pro-profit social entrepreneur drawn to so-called impossible ideas by a predilection to ‘have a go anyway’, and is adamant that the answers to the problems of society and the planet alike, lie in the development of good business.
Amanda studied philosophy and psychology before working as a marketing consultant in the field of new product design and launch.
She set up Red Button design with James Brown in 2007. As a result of the successful pitch she gave on BBC2’s ‘The Dragons’ Den’, Amanda has had the opportunity to collaborate on textbooks and education initiatives. Amanda is an Enterprise UK ambassador, a Creative Enterprise mentor at NESTA and a guest-blogger at UnLtdWorld.
