Prue Leith's varied career has included being a prolific food writer, presenting two TV series, founding the Leith's group of catering and restaurant companies which she sold in 1995 by which time she employed 350 people. She was also part of the chairmanship of the RSA, Ashridge Management College, 3E’s Enterprises, the British Food Trust and the School Food Trust and board membership of British Rail, Safeway, Halifax, Whitbread, Woolworths and Omega. She is currently on the board of Orient-Express Hotels. She has published five novels.
