    Are you certain that the increasing carbon dioxide is really the cause of the average temperature rise of the Earth? Some people think the Sun is getting hotter and this is causing the increase of CO2. In any case, might not an increase in temperature be beneficial when much of the land above the equator is in permafrost. Would it not be better to "jungalize" much of the tropical deserts and remove the CO2 that way instead of costly carbon "sequestration"? According to the literature the element atomic number six [C] is relatively scarce. I happen to believe that putting carbon dioxide permanently underground is wrong in principle and a mistake.
