    Although the introvert-extrovert distinction is not new, and indeed loudly proclaimed (!) by well-intentioned management trainers and psychologists, it is also true that this awareness has had little impact on the daily work-lives of many. Somewhat ironically, facilitators of creative thinking do not always think creatively about alternatives to high-speed, high-volume, idea-generation and selection techniques. I attended this talk and valued the fact that Susan is not a pyschologist, trainer or similar but, in effect, an end user. Well-researched, but not academic, she is engaging and persuasive in a way that few are. Will workplaces change? I anticipate that many group brainstorming sessions will be organised to come up with suggestions!

    Surely this is nothing new. The entrovert/extrovert personality trait is well known in the business world. I worked for a U.S. corporate bank for several years (in the UK) and there seemed to be endless rounds of training and self-awareness courses around this topic.
