The first step towards sonvlig any problem is recognizing what the problem really is.Even though this video doesn't give any thoughts on implementation, at least he was able to recognize what's wrong in the first place.Which is already doing more to help solve the problem than what most people in the education system are doing.

If we have all these wonderful creative people, why are things so bad. Not just the economy, but in many other areas? Perhaps these highly creative people are not solving the problems.... Are they being creative in the wrong areas? In fact it was over-creativity in financial areas that caused the crash, How so? Bernie Madoff and company were very creative. They sucked some $85 billion out of the economy! And wasted it. But they did so creatively! And the Accountants are not yet through creatively adding up all the costs. You can bet the lawyers involved will be very creative with billing hours. Then there is the resulting tax mess. The money people reported as income, was not. It was a return of their own money. That will take some creative fixing of tax returns, and issuing refund cheques. Peoples lives were destroyed by this thing, The bankers with their creative financial products that all crashed... Destroyed some $4 trillion dollars worth of wealth. Wow! That helped a lot of people! Bankruptcies, homelessness, fantastic stuff! Very creative! And they paid themselves $50 million dollar bonuses. Some 8 months before their companies failed! Awesome. No one was creative in jailing the criminals, or recovering the money they enriched themselves with, though! And that mess is not yet over. The war mongers were very creative, too. We now have had a war on Terrorism, a war in Iraq, a war in Afghanistan, and a war in Libya. Cost another $4 to 6 Trillion dollars. (Because all the moneys were borrowed, and are not yet repaid.) And the wars are not yet over! But the false reasons were very creative! No problem, if you are a big creative economy mahout. But if you are a dead or maimed war vet.... But who cares about them? Our problem is not creativity. We have too much of that! Our problem is having jobs for people to work so they can spend.... Our problem is consuming all the crap we can create.... Just bought a smart phone? Version 4, which does not work? No problem Version 5, which does not work is now out. And in 6 months will be version 6! Also buggy. And a new O/S every year, too. So whatever you just learned how to use? It don't work no more. So your time is not spent doing work. It is spent re-learning how to do something you already know how to do. What a creative waste of time! I heard of a man with 10 useless phones in his drawer. But that is very good for creativity! Not so hot for the economy, or for the ecology, or for this man with a drawer full of dead phones. They are all useless now. What is he to do with them? You cannot use them. No one wants them. And he adds a new one every couple of years. Wow! I think we need to look into this... and slow down. We do things, but have no idea what we are doing, or where we are going. I think we need to stop, take a look at where we are, and where we are going, and where we want to go. Not what and where a few elite want. For they are the few. We need to look at the people, and what they need and want. But then the few will get what they want. We had better become very creative soon. As we run out of oil, electricity, clean water, useful land, clean air, natural gas, and so forth. Because the Earth does not need people. If we wreck things, it will get rid of us, It is doing so already, Take those very creative antibacterial soaps. helping germs and viruses to become more robust. And of course, cancer everywhere. Why? You already know why. Think about it. Maybe we need to look at where and how and why we are building wealth. And also what we are doing with it. We also need to look at where the wealth is going, and what it is doing. But it is more than wealth. It is a case of resources, it is a case of health, it is a case, of discrepancies, and differences. Of gaps. When a few corporations are more powerful than dozens of nations.... then a few unknown un-elected people, without any responsibility or accountability, are making the decisions, Some will be correct, But some will be selfish, Some will be wrong. And we will not even know who made them. Consider the decision for how this comment space was set up. Who did that? I have a 22" monitor, and am keying my text in a 2 inch square box. WHY? I can display text up to 72 points in size. I am keying text into a box, that is microscopic in font size.... MUST it be a huge Ariel size 6? Could you not PLEASE shrink it to Ariel size 2? The lawyers! The poor, poor lawyers! How can they stand anything larger than Ariel size 4? I cannot even read the comment I am keying in. Did anyone "creative" even test this out? Apparently not. Bu the theory to day is to make things as complicated and as hard to use and as worthless a possible, It is not mere planned obsolescence. No, I think we have gone beyond that. We now PRE-plan obsolescence! Oh, and these wonderful illegible captcha things. We need more of those!!! One should have to solve a creative 22 character captcha to do anything! Can we not make that a new law? Captcha to vote! Captcha to credit card! Why, let us have Captcha to breathe! Well, maybe you will creatively read my comments and fix some of your problems. And maybe the elite and the celebutards will do something too. But I can tell you this. When the soft brown stuff hits the fan. It is always TC Mitts that solves the problem. If you are under 45 years of age, you may have to Google TC Mitts. He invented the KISS principle.
