What is the Fellowship Directory?

The Fellowship Directory is an area for Fellows to connect with each other on a one-to-one basis. As a Fellow, you can upload your details plus extra information and search for other Fellows to connect with.

Why isn’t every Fellow listed?

In the interest of Data protection, the Directory is an opt-in resource. Only Fellows who elect to enter their details, and allow others to find them, will be listed.

I want to contact a lot of people about something. Can I use the Directory?

No. The Directory is there to enable meaningful one to one connections between Fellows and not for mass-communication. The best way to connect with multiple Fellows is by engaging with a relevant network.

I think I have received mass-communication/marketing via the Directory, what should I do?

Please email fellowship@rsa.org.uk and explain that you feel you have received a mass-communication. We will investigate and take appropriate action, where necessary.

Why do I have to enter my details here as well as on other RSA sites?

With the expansion of our online presence, new platforms have been created that each require their own individual profiles. We are aware of this issue and the Directory is an early step towards centralising data.

Do I have to share all details?

Whilst we encourage Fellows to share as much data as they can, we realise that this is not always possible. Please make use of the privacy options on your Enhanced Profile where appropriate, to ensure you only share data you feel comfortable with.

Why am I unable to see the Directory even though I have registered as a Fellow?

It currently takes up to two working days for us to verify that Fellows are current. We are currently implementing an automatic system to help with this, but please bear with us whilst we do this. If it has been longer than two working days since you registered, please email us here.

Who can see my details once I upload them?

Only Fellows can see the Directory. You also have the option to keep your profile private or just hide your email address.
