Unitarian Church, Bury St. Edmunds

This is a joint meeting with the East of England Association of Civic Trust Societies, RSA, and Shape East.

Fellows will have the opportunity to discuss how the heritage and character of our towns can be preserved and adapted at a time of rapid expansion, and visit Bury St Edmunds arc, a new shopping centre, with experts in the field.

The speakers are Greg Luton, Regional Director of English Heritage, John Preston of the Institute for Historic Building and Conservation and Barry Shaw, Director of EDI and Head of the Built Environment at Essex County Council.

Themes: (i) To generate interest among non-professionals (ii) To show professionals it is worth engaging with non-professionals
