- His Excellency Dr Emil Brix, Austrian Ambassador to the UK (one-time Director for Cultural Programmes, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vienna, and later Director-General for Foreign Cultural Policies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vienna) and who 2007/08 was President of EUNIC and 2000/10 was Secretary-General of the Austrian Research Association. He was Director of the Austrian Institute in London 1995-99.
Dr Brix will be speaking on the politicisation of culture in a global context
