Leading for Social Change: ACOSVO and RSA Thematic Dinner Discussion

19th Mar 2009

Leading for Social Change
ACOSVO and RSA thematic discussion dinner, sponsored by RBS

ACOSVO, in partnership with the RSA and sponsored by RBS, is hosting a Scottish Leaders Dinner which explores “Leading for Social Change.” This “Social Change” dinner is the first in this year’s series of thematic discussion dinners, which ACOSVO is hosting throughout 2009 with the generous support of the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Susan Deacon FRSA, Professor of Social Change at Queen Margaret University & Former Health Minister, and Lucy Conway FRSA, Isle of Eigg’s Big Green Challenge project will challenge our thinking about leadership in the context of social change and how organizations such as the RSA and ACOSVO have a role in bringing together people with similar aims.  The event will be chaired by Claire Stevens, Director Scotland, CSV and a fellow of the RSA.

This will be an excellent opportunity to explore the challenges, emerging trends and opportunities involved in leading social change with leaders in the third sector and other RSA Fellows.

The dinner will take place at Royal Bank of Scotland HQ, Gogarburn House, Edinburgh, on Thursday, 19 March 2009 5:30 -10:00pm.   There is a £15.00 booking fee for this event, which will go towards furthering Leadership Network Events

If you are interested in this topic and are able to attend, please contact Pat Armstrong FRSA, Executive Director ACOSVO for a booking form. office@acosvo.org.uk  Places are limited and will be allocated on a “first come first served” basis.
