How do people – locals and visitors – use and enjoy Edinburgh? How might the challenges of climate change impact on the life of the city? How can the lens of sustainability help in the evolution of a more liveable and resilient city? What would the impact of pedestrianising Princes Street be?
RSA Scotland invites you to join artists and business people, activists and architects, designers and planners to explore these and other questions. Centred on audience participation, the evening will be designed as a Fishbowl conversation. This inclusive approach encourages ideas to be brought forward and elaborated on by audience members. It is an opportunity to hear new voices and develop inspirational concepts.
David Sim, director at Gehl Architects will commence the evening with insights into the distinct process of designing quality of life in contemporary urban space.
