Robin Berrington has offered to host a special tour of the Reptile Discovery Center at the National Zoo in Washington, DC. Berrington has been volunteering at the RDC for several years now, and as part of the tour will escort members “behind the scenes” showing them sections that ordinary visitors are unable to see. Berrington can also discuss conservation problems as well as reptiles and the environment, and what zoos do to address the important issue of endangered species at home and abroad.
Informal conversation afterwards on the zoo grounds.
Parking is available at the zoo. Nearest metro stations: Woodley Park or Cleveland Park Metro stations on the Red Line.
Numbers are strictly limited. Email Lynn Broadbent
