Washington DC: Networking Breakfast
4th Mar 2009
Invitation from Paul Rich, FRSA, President of the Policy Studies Organization
Garfield House
1527 New Hampshire Ave., NW
Washington, DC 20036
Fellows are invited to join Paul Rich, President of the Policy Studies Organization, and RSA staff Frank Spring and Lynn Broadbent, for breakfast at the historic Garfield House on Wednesday, March 4.
Paul has been a Life Fellow of the RSA for 25 years and is adjunct professor of public policy at George Mason University, a Visiting Fellow at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, and the President of The Policy Studies Organization, the scholarly organization for political and social policy scholarship to which more than 3000 universities and institutions belong.
At Paul's invitation, the RSA participated in the recent DuPont Summit on Science and Technology at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington DC. RSA Fellows will play an important role in the next Summit on December 4, 2009, both as presenters and as panel chairpersons and moderators. Our thanks to conference manager Daniel Gutierrez for his help and support.
At the breakfast, Paul will tell us about the objectives of the Dupont Summit and the work of the Policy Studies Organization. There will be time for discussion of Fellows' project ideas and informal networking. To reserve a place please contact Lynn Broadbent via email.
