New Fellows meet in Edinburgh
Over 50 new Fellows gathered in Edinburgh on 15th October to meet, network and share ideas about how to take the RSA forward in Scotland. Fellows were asked to respond to the question of what kind of research and ideas they would like to see the RSA leading on. The response was enthusiastic with a range of themes, methods and ideas for Fellow-led activity discussed. These centred around the two major areas that RSA Scotland will focus on for the next two years: education and skills and design and sustainability. Fellows also expressed a desire to see the RSA focus on being outcome-oriented in order to make a visible impact on the public agenda in Scotland.
Louise Macdonald, RSA Trustee and Chair of RSA Scotland introduced Belinda Lester, Director of Fellowship. Belinda described the work that the RSA is currently carrying out internally on mapping the Fellowship journey and creating a dynamic relationship between the RSA and its Fellowship – its greatest asset.
Fellows in Scotland are able to contact Judith Friedman, Outreach Coordinator and feed into RSA activities, projects and networks. Judith can be contacted through the RSA Scotland website
