Challenging Housing Segregation
27th Nov 2009
Performance area, Level 3, Linen Hall Library, 17 Donegall Square North, Belfast BT1 5GB (enter via Fountain St)
The Chartered Institute of Housing in Northern Ireland is delighted to invite Fellows to a lunchtime lecture with Mathew Taylor, Chief Executive RSA; chaired by Lord Richard Best, Chairman of the Independent Commission on the Future for Housing in Northern Ireland
The event will open with a paper produced by the RSA offering a framework for thinking about a ‘clumsy solution’ to segregated housing. Invited experts, stakeholders, CIH members and RSA Fellows will have their chance to share an overview of the current situation in terms of housing, segregation and current demographic patterns, and to discuss what progress has been made and what challenges remain.
We hope that you are able to join us for what will be a worthwhile event. It is essential that you confirm your attendance as places are limited. To reserve your place(s) please contact Edel Hughes, on 028 9077 8222 or email. RSVPs must be made before 20th November 2009. Admission is invitation only and will be based on first-come first-served.
