Sheila Portsmouth

Educated at Manning Grammar School, Nottingham, Sheila is a Member of the British Computer Society and a Chartered IT Professional.   She has been a Fellow of the RSA since 1998 and was a Private Members Club Licensee and Secretary (1996-2001).

Her IT career covers four years with John Player & Sons, and 31 years with British Gas, implementing projects including payroll, pensions, personnel, billing, purchasing, engineering, work study, creditor payments and training.  Her final project, as an IT human resources manager involved outsourcing IT for the South Eastern region.

She has an ongoing responsibility for apartment maintenance in Leicester.

Her interests include: Freemasonry, music, gardening, photography and ensuring that her family - dispersed throughout England - maintain meaningful contact.
