Learning Through Life

9th Nov 2009

The last RSA Scotland Newsletter gave early warning of this event, which will look at the radical proposals of the recent report on the future of Lifelong Learning in the UK. This event is being organised by RSA Scotland in partnership with Scotland’s Futures Forum, with support from the Goodison Group and FEds Scotland and we all hope that the event will start a considered debate on the report’s analysis and recommendations in the context of learning and skills for Scotland.  Professor Tom Schuller, the Director of the Inquiry will summarise the findings and three Fellows will comment on key issues facing Scotland, following which there will be group discussions identifying issues and action points for Scotland.

An invitation with further details is here. If you wish to attend, please register for the event as instructed.  We recommend early application, since places are limited and we expect a lot of interest in this event.

Full details of the Inquiry and Report are available here. Those attending are requested to read at least the summary of the Report available here.

If you have any queries about this event, please contact Bob Porrer by email on or by telephone on 0131 620 0338.
