Social Innovation Breakfast

14th May 2009

The RSA is teaming up with the Social Innovation Camp to tap into the expertise and energy of the RSA Fellowship to change the world one idea at a time.

Please join Social Innovation Camp staff and other RSA fellows for breakfast at the Melting Pot in Edinburgh on 14 May 2009, for a little bit of idea brainstorming as part of the SI Camp's hunt for great ideas and innovation.  If you've got an idea or you know about a social problem that you think we should be solving, this is your chance to try it out.Social Innovation Camp is a weekend where we build new solutions to real social problems and this breakfast is part of our hunt for great ideas and innovation.

From June 19th-21st, in under 48 hours we we’re bringing some of the best of the UK’s software developers and designers together with those at the sharp end of social change to turn six back-of-the-envelope ideas that could change the world into web-based social start-ups, complete with working software.

Currently, the Social Innovation Camp is on a mission. We are looking for the best ideas that people have that could change something important. Whether it's about education, health care, local communities or anything else that really matters - we want your ideas! We'll be talking about ideas and the web, and we'd love to share what we're up to with you. If you've got an idea or you know about a social problem you think we should be solving, this is the place to try us out. We are very excited about this initiative and feel that your ideas and energy will help propel this process forward.

There are only a few places for this breakfast so let us know if you'd like to join us from 8:30-10:00am, 14 May 2009, Edinburgh.

For more information, contact Katherine from the SI Camp.
