Conversations at the American Coffee House
We need a show of hands for the screening of Matthew Taylor’s annual address, “21st century enlightenment” on June 17, which will be live-streamed from the RSA Great Room and watched by Fellows around the world. Thanks to American Management Association, we can watch the event live as a group in screening rooms in Manhattan and in Crystal City, Virginia. Peter Peyser, Chairman of the US Board, will host the Manhattan screening and discussion. Lynn Broadbent, US Fellowship Director, will be hosting the Crystal City screening. Teams at AMA and at RSA London are working hard to make the technology work and I hope you can join us on the day, beginning at 1 pm Eastern. Please respond at 21st century enlightenment or email Lynn Broadbent. We need a group of around ten people in each location to make this work.
Elsewhere on the Coffee House, join in the discussion on whether Necessity is the Mother of Invention? or is it the fireman’s pole or the sweetie tubes that get the creative energy flowing? This follows the May 17, presentation on Creative Workplaces by Kursty Groves, author of “I Wish I Worked There!” and Jeremy Myerson, co-author of the new book 'New Demographics, New Workspace: Office Design for the Changing Workforce'
