Promoting Collaboration

What is the impact of crowdsourcing, dispersed leadership, or community funding on public services? Emily Miles, Winston Churchill Fellow, gives an update on her research which looks at how the center of Government can do more to promote collaboration between agencies and organisations for publicly funded services.

Emily was inspired by various US projects she visited: alternatives to juvenile detention in New Mexico, prisoner release in New York, Virginia foster care, and community funders in Washington DC, as well as various examples of ‘crowdsourcing’ and ‘dispersed leadership’.
