Be a Corporate Supporter

Whatever your company sponsorship or donation budget, we have a project or event to suit your resources. There are many ways for your company to join with the RSA, to build on the work that we are doing. Our eclectic range of projects can help develop and build on existing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies to enhance business and community relations.

Sponsorship & Events

The RSA hold a number of high profile and exciting events and lectures throughout the year that are available for sponsorship. We are also able to create and tailor corporate events to suit your company's business and community aims and objectives.

The RSA has the wonderful ability to bring people from different fields together as demonstrated through our programme of lectures, seminars and business breakfasts. Bringing together key business leaders, major decision makers and RSA stakeholders we can continue to make a lasting contribution to the world in which we live.

Case Studies and quotes

Coffeehouse Challenge with Starbucks Coffee Company 2004 - 2008

The Coffeehouse Challenge was launched exactly 250 years after the founder of the RSA, William Shipley, held its first meeting in a coffee house in Covent Garden. The project aims to bring communities together, to discuss pressing issues within their area. As a result of Coffeehouse discussions, a number of projects have been developed, for example, a project run by students for students to raise awareness of the dangers of knife crime in primary and secondary schools. Another project promotes cycling amongst young people as a healthy, inexpensive and environmentally-friendly form of transport.

The RSA, with Starbucks Coffee Company are entering the 4th year of the Coffee House Challenge, which is going from strength to strength.

"Starbucks is passionate about contributing to the communities that we serve. We're really please to be partnering with the RSA once again, and for our coffee houses to bring people together up and down the country and contribute to the vitality of local communities."
Brian Waring, Marketing Director, Starbucks Coffee Company

RSA WEEE man with Canon Europe 2005

Canon Europe was title Sponsor of the RSA WEEE Man, an imposing seven metre high, human figure composed of three tonnes of WEEE (Waste electrical and electronic products). It is a representation of the total amount of electronic waste that an average person in the UK is likely to consume in their lifetime. After being on display around the country including the City Hall in London and Bristol, this structure is taking up permanent residence at The Eden Project in Cornwall to constantly raise the publics awareness.

"Through the RSA WEEE Man initiative Canon wants to encourage communities to work together to resolve environmental issues and to develop solutions that will allow consumers to have easy access to WEEE disposal facilities. Educational and awareness programmes such as this will hopefully make WEEE disposal as widely accepted as recycling for newspapers, glass bottles and aluminium cans."
James Leipnik, Canon, Chief of Communication and Corporate Relations 2005

Reco-Vie sponsor the RSA WEEE Man

Reco-vie a young and innovative Waste recycling firm sponsored the WEEE Man by committing to donate one per cent of their annual profits in at least the first two years of trading in 2006 and 2007. They use the WEEE Man image on all their marketing materials as it is such a perfect fit with their business and are delighted with the Partnership they have forged with the RSA.

"We see the RSA WEEE Man as a superb opportunity to lift awareness of these wastes with the whole population, and its construction and appearance will grip the vivid imagination of children who are the next generation of recyclers."
Nick Catling, CEO Reco-Vie (recycling) Limited

A4E sponsor the Lecture programme 2006

During enterprise week in November 2006 innovative and inspiring skills training company A4E sponsored one of the lectures from the RSA 's year round programme that delivers thought provoking debates and seminars. A4E's core ethos is all about improving lives and helping people back to work and links perfectly with the RSA's overall mission but most significantly with the manifesto challenges of Developing a capable population, Fostering resilient communities and Encouraging enterprise.

Entrepreneur, business man and Fellow of the RSA Lord Bilimoria of Chelsea delivered this lecture on "What makes and Entrepreneur" to a full house of 200 guests in the Great Room and lecture theatre at the RSA's central London Building.

A4E were delighted with the result and we are in discussions for at least one if not two more sponsored Lectures in 2007.

"The RSA lecture on 'What makes a good entrepreneur' exceeded all our expectations with a full-house turning out to see Lord Bilimoria speak so eloquently on the subject, sharing his experiences of building Cobra Beer. The subsequent debate over dinner with our invited guests was equally stimulating and the discussions are still going on with future collaborations in the pipeline. With such a prestigious lecture theatre and great organisation, we'll certainly be working with the team at the RSA for future opportunities."
Sara McKee, A4E Group Marketing Director
