Tony Colton
I have worked as Principal and Chief Executive of a large city College of Further and Higher education and National President of the Association of Principals of Colleges. Now my contribution to civic society is fulfilling and consuming – consisting of:
• Trust Governor of a Primary School Academy
• Governor, Chair of the Strategic Development Committee, in a Foundation Comprehensive School
• Chair of the Nottinghamshire branch of the Chartered Management Institute
• Member of the Chartered Management Institute East Midlands Management Forum
I bring these experiences to our Fellowship having served as East Midlands Regional Chair, and Regional Treasurer, in the last fews years. Working with Fellows across the region I have assisted network developments; Open Space, new Fellows events and supported Society’s initiatives. Serving on the Fellowship Council will provide an opportunity for an energetic representation of regional thoughts wishes and observations.
