Haris Hromic

Haris Hromic is a Vice President at Barclays Capital Global Distribution Institutional Client Group in New York. Mr. Hromic serves on the Barclays’ Cultural Awareness Network Steering Committee as a leader of the Professional Organizations, Partnerships and Sponsorship initiatives. His professional career includes engagements in NGO, government, and academia. Prior to Barclays Capital he served at the New York City Mayor Bloomberg Office of Management and Budget with oversight responsibilities for $1.6 billion capital program. He was a Business Consultant at the NYC Office of the Comptroller and a Researcher at the Research Foundation of the City University of New York working on a nation-wide study of executive leadership, resource allocation policy, and pressure group politics. Mr. Hromic is a founding Member of the Council of the C-1 World Dialogue, organization dedicated to improving the relations between Muslim and Western world. He is a founding Member of the Board of the Bosniak American Advisory Council in Washington DC serving as its Director of Foreign Affairs. He was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs in New York where he served with the Development Committee. Mr. Hromic also served as a Member of the Local Candidates Committee of the Citizens Union of the City of New York. Mr. Hromic holds Masters of Arts in Political Science from New York University specializing in International Political Economy, Masters of Public Affairs specializing in Public Management from Baruch College Graduate School of Public Affairs, and a B.B.A in International Marketing from Zicklin School of Business. He has published works in the field of international relations, social reconstruction and genocide, and gender leadership politics. Mr. Hromic is a co-author of several resolutions in the Unites States Congress and the European Parliament. Mr.Hromic has been a Fellow of the RSA since 2008.
