Did you know?

This was originally the drawing room of No.2 John Adam Street. From 1832 until 1869 this was the office of The Equitable Gas Company.

When the Society purchased the leasehold in 1957 it became the Society’s Council Chamber. It later became the Library in 1972, until the Library moved to its current position in 2003.
