Keith Horsfall
A Fellow since 1999, I have been actively involved in the RSA in the region since the days of the Coffee House Challenge in the early part of the last decade. Currently I am Chair of the Birmingham City Network and Acting Chair of the West Midlands Region. I also represent the region on the RSA Regional Chairs’ Forum.
I have strong contacts with many of the Fellows in the region involving wide-ranging discussions with them, so I have some understanding of the issues in society which concern them, both regionally and nationally.
My professional background is in leadership roles in education and the arts and more recently in social policy. After a career in local government, I am now closely involved with the third sector, currently being the Chief Executive of a charity working with at-risk teenagers as well as being a director of a newly formed Community Interest Company involved in international youth music making.
