Changing behaviour

Encouraging behaviour change is notoriously difficult, but new approaches are emerging. A combination of psychology and design offers new possibilities for transforming how we use everyday objects such as cars and domestic appliances. The RSA is investigating the role of 'persuasive technologies' to help create the society we aspire to. Visit the Changing Behaviour blog.

RSA bookshop

We are delighted to announce a new online bookshop facility in partnership with Blackwell, the UK's leading academic bookseller. This new venture will offer Fellows and friends an affordable and convenient opportunity to purchase books and to explore our speakers' ideas in greater detail. Visit the RSA bookshop and buy your books online.

Social Brains

New scientific evidence has brought into question the idea of human beings as wholly self-interested. The RSA has developed a 'Social Brain' project to research this idea. It will ask leading thinkers to investigate the implications this has for social policy. Visit the Social Brain blog.
