Business Secretary Peter Mandelson, comes to the RSA to speak about securing Britain’s economic future.

Peter Mandelson will use this lecture to launch a debate on how government in the UK could do more to nurture and reinforce Britain’s industrial potential over the long term. He will argue that without backing away from its strong commitment to free trade and open and competitive markets, Britain must now ensure that it develops the skills, expertise and infrastructure that will define its capacity to set the pace in the industrial and technological revolutions that will define the twenty first century.
