In the week that Parliament reconvenes, controversial cartoonist Martin Rowson visits the RSA to discuss his career as a ‘visual journalist’ and to trace the intriguing history of the political cartoon. Martin Rowson will be in conversation with novelist and journalist, Will Self Rowson’s style is visceral and deliberately provocative, and he sees himself following in the tradition of eighteenth-century satirists and cartoonists, such as Gillray.
