Event: What should we be teaching professional designers today?


Since their birth as an industrial bursaries scheme in the 1920s, the RSA student design awards have closely mirrored the evolution of professional design from single-discipline craftsmanship and design for industry to more diffuse forms of service innovation and socially-inclusive professional practice. The crafts and tools that traditionally constituted design have become less distinct – what are they now?
