RSA Partners in the Education Campaign and Charter

An alliance for Whole Education is being instigated by a group of organisations who share an ambition to seek out other people and organisations who share the belief in a need for profound, widespread and enduring spread of practices that support the aims and values of Whole Education, such as those aims and beliefs set out in  Education Charter.

While there are a growing number of organisations and individuals signed up to the Charter – and we hope that will grow exponentially- the below group have come together to form the core of the emerging alliance that can support those schools, localities and parents that want to make the Charter a reality in their local area.

All these organisations hold in common an optimistic and practical sense of the change that is possible in schools and other education settings, as well as recognising that there are numerous examples of Whole Education in schools, localities and youth initiatives across the country. As well as a campaign to raise awareness of 21st Century education practices, it will support the development and spread of innovative practices by making available all frameworks and tools from various programmes and initiatives (e.g. Learning Futures, Opening Minds, Enquiring Minds). Coupled with events held across the country, this will provide practical support for all schools, institutions and key stakeholders who sign up to the principles of Whole Education.

Our aims

  • Creating awareness, improving understanding and promoting the value of Whole Education
  • Engaging and mobilising support from individuals and organisations across society for Whole Education
  • Supporting widespread development and adoption of Whole Education practices across the country
  • Demonstrating evidence of the impact and benefits of Whole Education practices to support change and influence policy
