The Opening Minds School Community is an online directory of schools that are using Opening Minds. Opening Minds is a competence based curriculum framework being used in more than 200 schools. The Community is based on the principle that we are collectively more effective when we share our work with each other. The Community is designed to allow schools to create their own profiles, search for one another, get in touch, and share materials online.

By signing up to the Opening Minds Schools Community you will be able to search for Opening Minds schools using a range of criteria such as region, subject, year group and school size.
If you are interested in Opening Minds for your own school you will be able to find other schools in your region, get in touch with them and see documents they have uploaded.
If you are already planning or implementing Opening Minds then signing up will also allow you to create a profile for your school and begin communicating and sharing with other schools.

We have worked with several schools to provide an insight into different experiences of Opening Minds. Videos and reports from different schools show how Opening Minds can be used to ease the transition between primary and secondary school, improve communication between subject departments and engage with outside practitioners is available here.
