Transferring from one system into the Academy and into a new style of teaching and learning is never easy - what has been demonstrated here is that with the right courses, focused students and high quality teaching and learning we have been able to extend the potential of many of our students. To have so many achieve GCSE grades at the highest level is an amazing achievement for all concerned. The individual successes of many of our students are way beyond what they imagined - I am absolutely delighted for each and every one of them."
