The RSA Academy gets a big thumbs up from Ofsted

The RSA Academy has had its first HMI Ofsted inspection and has passed with flying colours.

The Inspectors' judgement is that the Academy is making 'Good progress, with Outstanding Capacity for continued improvement'. And as Michael Gernon, Academy Principal says, "This is great news for the Academy and our local community in Tipton. Education is so important, it is vital that our young people get the best possible start in life and I’m delighted that the Academy has received this tremendous accolade from HMI."

"As always, there is more to do but it's fantastic to get official recognition of the huge progress we've made since opening in 2008. The Inspectors commented particularly on the enthusiasm of the students and parents, how positive they were about the Academy and this is something that I am especially delighted about. After all, this is what we are here for - to serve our community."
