Funding partnerships
Our funders – Trusts, Foundations, local authorities and public bodies - all share our commitment to fostering social progress. Our Projects combine radical new thinking with practical action to deliver positive social change and help people to fulfil their potential.
We work closely with our funding partners in areas relevant to their work to develop our leading edge projects, collaborate with key opinion formers and share expertise. We test out our ideas with practitioners and services users in communities to deliver impact on the ground. These range from work in education, design and the arts, to enterprise, public service innovation and community development – such as developing holistic strategies to enable people to recover from drug misuse.
We are interested in stimulating social innovation and progress, for example setting up the RSA Academy in Tipton, West Midlands, one of over 200 schools in the UK that offer the RSA’s innovative Opening Minds curriculum; and RSA Catalyst which seed funds new projects and social enterprises RSA Fellows are starting up around the UK and globally.
Although the RSA can invest a small amount of seed funding into its Projects to cover the early feasibility stages of its work, we rely entirely on external funding for all our Projects, and are grateful to our funders who enable this work to happen.
To find out more about partnering with us, please contact Esther McCarthy, our Head of Business Development by email or by telephone on +44 (0)20 7451 6961.
