Throughout its history, the RSA has extended a welcome to others looking for a place to discuss their ideas. The RSA has also played host to some landmark events, including Britain’s first photographic exhibition and early public demonstrations of the telephone and talking film.
This tradition continues, with book launches, lectures, conferences, and film premieres taking place in the Great Room, Durham Street Auditorium and Benjamin Franklin Room. These air-conditioned venues are equipped with state-of-the-art AV and can hold between 60 and 186 people.
The RSA House also has more intimate rooms for smaller events involving between 14 and 50 participants. With their natural light and original Adam-style interiors, these offer an inspiring setting for board meetings, presentations and workshops.
The RSA House is located in the heart of London’s West End, within easy reach of Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, the South Bank and numerous Underground and mainline stations.

A large group?
The Great Room, decorated with James Barry's spectacular 18th-century mural, The Progress of Human Knowledge and Culture, offers an event space for up to 200 guests with state-of-the-art AV equipment.

Smaller group?
For smaller meetings, seminars or events, we have a wide range of rooms, accommodating from 10 to 100 people.
We recommend the Durham Street Auditorium, the Tavern, Adelphi, Folkestone and Romney rooms. For small meetings and workshops up to 20 people, we recommend the Shipley and Drawing rooms. Explore a 360 view of these rooms on our virtual tour.
Day Delegates
Our Day Delegate rates include the ‘RSA Experience’, a meeting and catering package which includes: mini pastries on arrival, a two course hot fork buffet lunch and afternoon homemade cake, as well three refreshment breaks.
Simple AV will also be included (1 x Lectern microphone, screen and wifi). An AV technician will be charged separately.
