£26,223 - £27,879 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience) + benefits

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Area Manager to deliver and support Fellows activity at a local level which will enhance Fellows’ experience as part of our overall Fellowship strategy.
The Local Area team is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to help shape activity and act as a first single point of contact for the Central area which comprises East of England, East and West Midlands. Based outside our office in London, you’ll be joining an enthusiastic UK based team who lead on several important areas of work including the organisation of networking events and enable connections between the Fellows. You will have a strong understanding how to mobilise people and bring them together to achieve impact, helping Fellows deliver their own RSA activity including events and networks.
The ideal candidate will understand how membership organisations work, have the ability to identify activity opportunities and sustain networks. Effective communication and participation skills are essential along with the ability to self-motivate. You will have experience in event planning and be able to demonstrate confidence in engaging and communicating with a variety of stakeholders. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed self-starter with demonstrable interest in the values and work of the RSA.
