From £31,414 to £36,800 per annum (pro rata for part time, commensurate with skills and experience) + benefits, based in London WC2
The RSA runs one of the UK’s most exciting and ambitious programmes of public debate and events, providing a platform for leading international public thinkers and inspirational practitioners. RSA event podcasts, videos and RSA Animate and Shorts films reach a global online audience of millions, and engage a lively community of RSA Fellows and the wider public across a range of social media platforms.
We are looking for an exceptional Video Producer to deliver cutting-edge online event videos who will independently produce and manage the RSA video series, film or live-stream each event, manage our freelance camera/vision mixer schedule and provide a professional post-production service, from editing to analytics.
You will be intellectually excited by our content and have an innovative approach and the vision and drive to maximise the potential and reach of RSA online event videos with an understanding of how to make full use of online video platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo. You will have wide ranging and innovative online audio, video skills and expertise, and you will bring this to the role, together with your intellectual curiosity. You will understand and be enthusiastic about the world of ideas. You will have strong communication skills, and be able to work independently yet work well as part of the larger events team.

We envisage this as a 3.5 days per week position with compressed hours, although we can be flexible with the exact arrangement. This role involves working on weekly events, which are held at lunchtimes and in the evenings.
